This compared with existing "high speed" gate operators yielding only 1 to 2 feet per second. Technical Specifications

• No Moving Drive Components
The drive operation is performed using linear induction motors having no moving parts. This technology is similar to that used on airport trams and new catapult systems. This electro-magnetic operation results in unsurpassed SPEED and reliability with virtually no maintenance. No hydraulic hoses, cables, pulleys, chains, gears or sprockets.

• Self Calibrating
The gate operator will automatically calibrate itself on startup.

• Variable Speed and Gate Size
The system is designed to operate slide gates regardless of weight or length. The standard speed of 6 feet per second can be faster if required. The speed advantage can significantly improve operating efficiency where single vehicle entry or exit is mandated. (Eg. Airport AOA gates.)

• Easy Installation
Drive motors and reaction fins mount directly to the gate. Motors float with the gate, thus eliminating critical alignment. No concrete pads are needed.

• Positive Locking Feature
A locking pin secures the gate in the open and closed position. A lockable manual release handle can be used in the event of power loss. Emergency backup power systems can be adapted to assure 100% service during power losses. The controller automatically re-learns limits and gate load when the power is restored.

• Compatibility
The gate operator is fully compatible with most access control devices such as loop detectors, photo beams, keypads, card readers, etc...
