
USR-ODDS Product Overview
The ODDS (Overspeed Directional Detection System) package provides an advanced alert at access control points of potential vehicle threats. The system alerts guards at entrance and exit points that a vehicle is approaching at a high rate of speed. It also gives an alert if a vehicle is traveling in the wrong direction which makes ODDS the ultimate traffic control sensor system.

Product Features & Benefits
The ODDS system gives guards an advanced notice that an incoming vehicle is approaching over posted speed limits and signals if a vehicle is entering through the wrong direction. These quick alerts give guards advanced notification of potential threats, allowing extra time to prepare and respond. The ODDS package includes sensors, display units, an ODDS computer and ODDS interface panel. The system compliments any USR perimeter security product and may be retrofitted to existing security equipment for improved safety.
Speed Smart System Activation
The ODDS package reduces the likelihood of a security breach by alerting guards to potential threats. The system artificially extends the line of sight for guard staff, providing advanced notification of vehicles traveling overspeed or in the wrong direction. As a vehicle approaches the ODDS radar speed sensor captures the speed that the vehicle is traveling. ODDS emits an audible and visual alarm which alerts the guards and gives increased time to effectively contend with the oncoming threat before the access control points is reached. ODDS may also be configured to activate any number of other perimeter security measures, such as vehicle barriers, security cameras, etc.
Components
A small, made to order, computer unit to be housed in a secured area. Displays the overspeed and directional warnings produced from the sensors on screen.
A complete Doppler Radar in a compact, rugged, water-proof, cast-aluminum housing. Features the longest range available - for up to 2 miles.
Display unit with network capabilities, updated via Windows software and capable of memory backup during power outages. Data conversion for driving displays greater than 50 feet away. LED display.
