2000 Series Electric Vehicle Barrier

USR sells and installs electric vehicle barriers featuring U.S. Department of State certified K12 protection, very low maintenance, and rapid, all electric activation. Available in 10', 12½' and 15' wide systems; these electric vehicle barriers provide an economical and effective solution for securing individual lanes of traffic.

Installation is easy and can be completed in just one day, if necessary. Installation requires shallow excavation to install the self-contained vault along with concrete poured around the perimeter flush with the existing roadway. In just a few hours, it can be fully operational. In case of a major malfunction or power outage, the barrier can be manually raised or operated with a battery back-up system.

• Operates on 120 VAC, 240 VAC single phase or 208 VAC three phase power
• U.S. Department of State certified K12 protection
• Activation times available in under 2 seconds
• Adaptable to any existing control systems with touch-screen and custom controls available
• Available in 10', 12½' and 15' wide systems
• Flush mounted with the roadway allowing un-obstructed operation of street sweepers or snow plows
• Each unit equipped with red LED strobe lights visible when deployed

• Safety loops in front of and behind the units
• Additional loops can be installed to create an automatic exit
• Warning signs and flashing traffic signals
• Battery back-up systems: allows units to operate over 250 cycles in the event of commercial or emergency power failure
• Heat grid system: a grid is installed in the bottom of the vault allowing snow and ice to be discharged from the vault via the internal sump pump
• Touch screen operator or custom operator controls
